KOSTAKOV AMANDYK KAMBAROVICH

Master of Agriculture, Associate Member of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Born on June 20, 1972 in Ulgili Village of Maktaaral District in the South Kazakhstan Region

 

Educational Background: He graduated from the Kazakh State Agricultural College with a degree in Agriculture in 1996. He joined the post-graduate course at the Research Institute of Plant Protection in 2006.

Professional Career:

​He started his professional career as the worker in Ulgili Village. In 1997, he worked as the Director of Channel of ‘Ontustiksushar’ RSE, the Agronomist of ‘Maktashy’ OJSC (2001) and Merchandise Specialist of the third zone. He worked as the Cashier-Operator at ‘Agrointex’ LLP from 2003.

He began to work at the Research Institute of Cotton Growing as the Junior Research Fellow from January 2006. Since May of the same year, he was appointed as the Head of the Department of Plant Physiology and Protection. He worked as the Head of Innovative Technologies and Cotton Growing Diversification Department of ‘KazAgroInnovatsia’ JSC from January 2008. He passed Ph.D thesis on ‘Chemical Weed Control of Cotton Fields on the Light Sierozem of the Southern Kazakhstan’. This year he began to serve in the capacity of Academic Secretary of ‘Kazakh Research Institute of Cotton Growing’ LLP. Field of research is the plant protection and technologies development. He has a great experience in the development and realization of this subject-matter. He is the author of more than 207 research papers and expert of ‘Institute of Eurasian Integration’ in the field of cotton growing. 

Author of 25 innovative utility model patents and selection achievements, many of which are successfully used in production.

In 2013, he was elected as the corresponding member of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
